Lull Telehandlers
Since 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their equipment have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system offers much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you accomplish your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, numerous attachments have been engineered and developed like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to position materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to position loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being developed and engineered all the time and will debut in the future.
A lot of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the extension of the boom and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
