Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You could often find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also referred to as pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are utilized to move supplies and products around on wooden pallets using metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump that could lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by one individual.
Pallet trucks must be operated carefully to avoid loss of control while lifting heavy loads. Equipment should be checked prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Check that the handle turns smoothly. The pallet should be carefully stacked to ensure that nothing would fall off during transportation.
To lower the forks and release air in the pump, squeeze the lever situated on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks could then be pushed into the pallet slots. The forks must be centered to ensure even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has completely cleared the ground. Do not raise the pallet very high or the forklift can unbalance.
Pull on the handle and then drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is really dangerous to push the pallet ahead of you because the thrust can cause it to lose control. Take turns slowly and don't try to stop abruptly. Stop slowly, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
