The company performs various controlled field tests and reliability development in order to ensure their products are very safe.
Some of Yale's innovative designs and technology which has been integrated as standard features for their fleet so as to enhance overall safety consist of the following:
Operator Compartment Ergonomics and Controls
The operator compartment has been designed with ergonomics in mind, utilizing state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to ensure that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions as well as exhaustion. These extra comforts help to increase overall efficiency.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Adjustable operator controls enable the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machine user friendly, regardless of who is operating it. Before beginning their shift, the operator could make sure she or he is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
Yale's hydraulic system operation known as the Operator Presence System prevents the use of the machine if the operator is not in the correct operating position. This presence system additionally disables directional travel on internal combustion engine truck units.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the liquid propane gas tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the operator's natural handling position making the tank easier to change.
